If native chart creation fails before publication, Hashchats can also try Image AI with the original request and available source data. The existing Creating image status describes this work. A successful Image fallback costs USD 0.100 per image, subject to Image usage checks; the failed native chart attempt is not also charged.
Image AI can reproduce or edit the chart visually, but its numbers, dates and labels can be wrong. It does not include the native route’s exact data table or requested CSV export. Review it against your source.
Explicitly say “Do not make an AI-generated illustration” if you want the quantitative chart request to continue without an Image fallback. Changed or inaccessible chat sources and uncertain publication do not authorize an extra generation. Questions explaining charts remain ordinary Text requests.
