This is available in native builds 1.162 and later, including direct messages and groups. It does not apply to phone or desktop browsers, and a web update cannot add it to an older installed app.
Tap a suggested conversation to open its composer, review the imported text or supported attachments, then tap Send. Existing drafts are retained, and normal AI eligibility, attachment limits and Universal Hashtags apply. If adding attachments would exceed the limit, or the chat is unavailable, sharing returns to Forward to....
Hashchats supplies up to five eligible recent People chats. Private AI chats, temporary chats and New Chat are excluded. Android also excludes chats inactive for more than 30 days and may allow fewer candidates. The operating system controls which suggestions appear, their order and refresh timing. Leaving a chat, losing membership or changing accounts removes eligibility.
On iOS, if the system prevents opening Hashchats, retained shared content can be recovered when you open the app.
