The message disappears from the chat, but delivered notifications and copies saved or forwarded elsewhere are not recalled. AI requests and AI responses do not offer this deletion action. Delete a private AI chat if you want to remove that whole conversation.
On updated builds, repeating an already completed deletion stays quiet and does not restore the deleted message. Genuine permission or connection failures still show feedback.
