Polls work in private AI chats and People chats, including groups. You can put the creation request in your prompt or selected hashtag. Asking about polls, translating a request or quoting one does not create a poll.
A poll has a question of up to 500 characters and 2–8 options of up to 200 characters each. Votes are visible, single-choice and changeable. Anonymous voting, multiple selections and scheduled closing are unavailable. AI uses the available context and reasonable defaults.
Manual poll creation is retired on updated web, iOS and Android builds. There is no poll attachment button or extra device permission. Text is required for a native poll; another selected mode keeps its output medium. Normal processed Text AI usage and allowance apply, with no per-poll minimum; source analysis can add usage.
