- On a phone or mobile layout, double-tap an eligible message. On desktop web, hover over it and choose Forward.
- Choose a destination in Forward to..., review the composer and send.
Messages still being sent or generated must finish first. GIFs and Clips can be forwarded; Clips are sent as videos. Forwarding itself makes no AI request.
Poll votes, quiz attempts and scores, and flashcard study bookmarks reset in the copy. Checklist items start unchecked. Images keep annotations and existing descriptions, and videos keep independent copies of their current subtitles. Link and destination cards keep their metadata when accompanying text is unchanged.
A forwarded quiz, flashcards or checklist used later with Ask AI keeps its saved state. AI can receive the selected artifact’s rich details without automatically regenerating it.
