How do I share a contact card?

On supported builds, share one VCF from your phone’s Contacts app into Hashchats. Review and deselect fields before upload, choose the destination and send. Sharing with @ai off uses no AI tokens.

Answer

Only reviewed fields are shared. Photos, notes, birthdays and hidden fields are removed. A VCF must be UTF-8, smaller than 1 MiB and contain one contact. Share separate files within the ordinary attachment limit for several people. You do not need to browse your address book inside Hashchats.

Native cards offer Add to Contacts for system review and More → Download .vcf. Browsers offer Download Contact. Opening the system editor does not mean the contact was saved. Unsupported cards remain ordinary files.
