Previous and Next jump between narrated sections without changing whether playback is running. Tap a timed text block to seek to its beginning; paused audio stays paused. Links and controls keep their usual actions, and dragging or long-pressing can select text.
Long messages scroll just enough to reveal the current block. Scrolling manually takes priority; the reader does not snap back during that same block. Pause keeps the highlight so you can read. Long passages and tables remain scrollable.
Use Close, swipe down on the top controls or go back to return to the original player without restarting or duplicating audio. Reduced motion removes the opening and closing transitions. The reader keeps the screen awake where supported and releases that hold when you leave.
Message media, replies and permitted actions remain available. Choosing a replied-to message or using its hashtag returns to chat first. Download, mobile sharing and CC remain in the original player. There are no speed or music controls in the reader.
