How do I create or edit a hashtag?

From Home, choose New Hashtag, or open the composer’s # picker and choose Create a New Hashtag at the bottom. Choose the model type, enter a name and instructions in Prompt, and optionally add a description.

Is Public? controls visibility: on is public and off is private. Choose Done to create. An existing hashtag uses Save or Save Changes. Hashtags you own also have Delete Hashtag below the save button, with confirmation.

Use English letters, numbers and spaces for names, following the editor’s naming guidance. Unsupported characters remain visible so you can correct them. Text hashtags that write scripts, lyrics, code, JSON or prompts for media generators are valid Text tasks. Choose a media type when you want generated media itself.

Is Conversational? and Search Enabled? are retired and absent on updated apps. Older saved values no longer control behavior. Manual hashtags clear after an accepted AI request; unsent drafts keep their selection. Universal Hashtags remain chat-wide defaults, and @ai stays independent.
