How do I reply to a message?

1. On a phone or mobile layout, swipe the message from right to left. On desktop web, hover over it and click Reply.
2. Check the reply preview above the composer, write your message and send.
3. To ask AI about that message, keep @ai on and choose Text for a question or explanation. Close the reply preview to return to a normal message.

Reply previews may include a thumbnail when one loads successfully; the sender and text remain if it cannot load. For Text AI search results, the preview uses the first image that rendered successfully on your device.

While a message is still being sent, Reply and other message gestures are unavailable. Any available retry or cancel controls remain usable.
