Answer
- No voice direction: the answer is narrated exactly like Narrate, with two alternating voices. Tone and pace requests such as “whisper it” still shape the delivery.
- One storyteller: ask for a storyteller, an audiobook style, a soothing bedtime voice or “read it to me.” One voice chosen to fit your request reads the whole answer.
- Characters: ask for a dialogue, podcast or play, such as “Write a dialogue between four friends and read it aloud.” Every character gets its own voice, which stays the same throughout, and there is no limit on the number of characters.
Storyteller and character performances can laugh, sigh, whisper, shout, use an accent or switch languages. The written answer and Read Along show only the words; cues such as [laughs] or {surprised} stay in the audio. A request to sound like a real person gets a fitting voice and style, not that person’s voice. Music and sound effects are skipped.
Pricing, Read Along and “Retry audio” work the same way in every mode. In a new dialogue narration, Read Along highlights each speaker’s line on its own as it is spoken.
